About

I am an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Health Policy & Management at the Yale School of Public Health. My research focuses on the economics of health and public policy, including risky behaviors such as tobacco and alcohol use as well as hearing health.

I initially earned a BA in English from the University of Louisiana, but later returned to continue my education due to my interest in the economics of health. I earned an AA in Economics from Austin Community College in 2016, and then two additional undergraduate degrees from Texas State University in 2020: a BA in Economics and a BS in Mathematics. Subsequently, I enrolled in the PhD program at Georgia State University's Andrew Young School and earned an MA in Economics in 2022 and a PhD in Economics in 2025.
